Homepage Banners

With a wide variety of brands and products there are always product releases and promotions that call for homepage banners. I’ve worked on numerous banners for a wide selection of brands.

Some of the brands I’ve created banners for on the B&H website.

Updated Rating and Review experience

New hover overlay to show a quick detail of reviews.

By creating an overlay of a quick view of the ratings breakdown saves the user from scrolling down the page and clicking the reviews tab to view the ratings of a product. It helps make the shopping experience faster for the user which in turn gets the the user to convert quicker.

Updated and new review badges

Updated and added new review badges to show show if the review is from a verified buyer or someone from the brands website. By doing this it adds clarity and transparency for the user to see where the reviews are coming from. This adds trust and strengthens the brand.

Review filters and search

Added a filter, sort by, and search for the review section. This allows the user to sort by stars rating to make their decision quicker if it’s the right product. The user now has the ability to sort by verified or other types of reviewers. The search lets the user quickly search for key words that could be in a review.

Enhancements to Q&A

Updated Q&A experience and UI

By making the option to answer a question and keeping it inline it keeps the user on the page so there’s less chance of abandoning a potential conversion. While updating the UI in the interaction adds to the brand strength with consistent CTAs and user expectations.

Updated type ahead experience when asking a question

With this updated type ahead interaction lets the user clearly see what similar questions have been asked with in the input field. This keeps the actions close to to what the user is doing so there’s little to no guess work with asking a question.
